The first day of Dreamhack Masters has come to an end as the first matches have played out, and the winners and losers matches have been decided for tomorrow.

Group C started out with Astralis beating CSGL 16-9, and will go on to play their Danish rivals Dignitas who mowed Ninjas in Pyjamas 16-2 on de_overpass.

Group D, the last of the day, saw Virtus.pro best FaZe 16-8 on de_train, while Tempo Storm were able to keep Envy at bay as the French team tried to come back from a 7-14 deficit, falling short at 14-16.
